Visiting Places
Fener District: It is placed in central Zonguldak. It was built by French residents 100 years ago and is declared as urban archeological site. Deniz klubu, Tabipler lokali, Mimar ve Muhendisler Lokali, Kilise Restaurant and Maden Muhendisleri Lokali are the preferred places for dining.
Uzun Mehmet Monument: It is situated on the Zonguldak-Kozlu highways. It is built for the memory of Uzun Mehmet, who discovered hard coal first. In addition there are a zoo, walking paths and picnic places in the area where the monument stands.
Harmankaya Waterfalls: approximately 4 km of tracking voyage takes you this unique natural beauty.
Gökgöl Cave: It is located at the exit of Ankara- Zonguldak highways and can be reached quite easily. In order to have tourism activities in the cave, it is well lighted and decorated with walking places.
Cehennemağzı Caves: Due to the religional and mytological background, Cehennemağzı Caves are mostly preferred in Kdz.Ereğli.
Kdz.Ereğli Museum: This museum is the valuable one to visit its not only for building arts but also historical arts.
